My primary clinical interests include late adolescent and adult individual, couples, and group psychotherapy and assessment. I am particularly interested in assisting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety related disorders, anger management difficulties, and/or marital relationship distress. I come from clinical training that emphasizes community psychology through program development/evaluation and plan on continuing these areas of applied research throughout my career. Currently, while on pre-doctoral internship at the Washington D.C. Veteran Affairs Medical Center, I am developing and implementing a 12-week cognitive-behavioral therapy group for depression management. Throughout my graduate training I have focused on providing empirically supported treatment to clients, mainly utilizing cognitive behavior therapy and third wave cognitive therapy approaches (ACT, MBCT, and DBT).
